I highly encourage submissions to my blog, especially from fellow-bloggers who share a similar audience base with me. Having said that, please read the guidelines and contact me with any questions.
Quality Matters
Note: I have a very high bar for guest posts and I frequently receive many submissions. As a result, I end up turning down many well-written posts.
Some of the most common reasons I turn down posts include:
- Poor grammar, spelling, punctuation, or lack of control of the English language
- Topics overlap with other submissions or with posts I have already written myself
- Posts are too general or off-topic for my audience
Content
I would prefer your post be on one of the following business-related topics (but I will consider creative/inspirational/out-of-the-box posts as well).
- Personal Growth
- Leadership
- Business Practices
- Ministry Actions
- Eternal Perspective
Guidelines
- Make sure your post is original and not published anywhere else online.
- You agree to allow a guest post from me on your website. Alternatively, another comparable arrangement can be made.
- Shoot for 250-750 words in length.
- Please don’t create a post that is simply an advertisement for your product or the equivalent of a sponsored post. Contact me if you would like to advertise on my site.
I recommend these excellent guest post articles to read as well:

These all contain some very helpful tips to maximize your post.
Editing
I will likely copy-edit your post for grammar, punctuation, spelling, etc. If I make substantive changes (which is unlikely), I will email the post back to you for your approval before posting.
I may provide a short introduction or conclusion to your post to provide context or the rationale as to why I think the post is important. I will make sure that my comments are set off from yours stylistically, so that my readers are clear that these are mine and not yours.
Disclaimer
I understand the work that it takes to write a blog post. However, the fact that you have written a post and submitted it to me does not obligate me to publish it. The only guest posts I will publish are those that in my sole judgment add value to my readers.
Submissions
If your post meets the above guidelines:
- Please email your proposed guest post to me for consideration (copying the post into the body of the email rather than as an attachment). I will respond within one week. If I reject your post you are obviously free to do whatever you want with it, including publishing it elsewhere.
- If applicable, please include the size of your readership: number of blog readers, Facebook friends or fans, and Twitter followers.
- Please confirm that you are willing to engage with my readers in the comments about your post.
